3 Complete by Juice Plus+ Recipes for Your Children

It can be a struggle to get kids to eat nutritious foods. You can use this high-protein, fiber-packed shake mix to whip up healthy treats for the whole family with these three simple recipes. Each one adds the goodness of at least one fruit to the 13 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber the mix already provides. Tropical Surprise Smoothie

Kids love smoothies and this one is sure to please, while providing them with a full serving of fruit. This recipe makes two 12-oz servings.

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop (1/4 cup) Complete by Juice Plus+ French Vanilla shake mix
  • 1 cup milk, almond milk, or coconut milk
  • 1  banana, chopped
  • ½ cup frozen mango chunks
  • ½ cup pineapple chunks
  • handful shredded coconut

Instructions

Toss all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds.

 

Complete by Juice Plus+ Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a great, fibrous way to start the day. The only problem is that it doesn’t have any protein. Consider that problem solved, with this ingenious recipe that makes two hearty bowls.

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop (1/4 cup) Complete by Juice Plus+ French Vanilla shake mix
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup milk, almond milk, or coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 handful of almonds

Instructions:

Heat milk and water in a small pan without letting it boil. Then, add oats and cook (it should be hot enough to gently bubble) for 5-10 minutes, stirring the entire time. Remove from heat and thoroughly mix Complete by Juice Plus+ into the oatmeal. At the end, add blueberries and sliced almonds on top.

 

Chocolate Peanut Butter-Banana Popsicles

Peanut butter is another kid-approved flavor, and what pairs better with peanut butter than rich, Dutch Chocolate? Your kids will never guess these popsicles are nutritious and good for them! This recipe makes 6-8 popsicles.

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop (1/4 cup) Complete by Juice Plus+ Dutch Chocolate shake mix
  • 1 cup milk, almond milk, or coconut milk
  • 1 banana, chopped
  • ¼ cup peanut butter

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds. Pour into popsicle molds and let freeze for 3-4 hours, then let soften at room temperature for 2-3 minutes before eating.
